On the 12th of July we had the pleasure of partnering with Tech Makers Amsterdam to throw an event to kick-off their time at the Marineterrien. It was an evening full of engaging speakers, wonderful guests and a whole lot of fun!

With only a week and a half of preparation, the Kanteen25 team pulled all the pieces together to ensure the event ran smoothly and each guest had an opportunity to have the full “Kanteen25 experience”. Of course, this means they were treated to some local, sustainable and delicious food and drink prepared by the kitchen and front of house team.

An Evening of Tech Makers Telling their Stories

The evening was made special by the incredible work Tech Makers put in to host a group of excellent guest speakers. A group was gathered centred around Amsterdam’s start-up scene – from seasoned entrepreneurs and VCs to students and curious minds from all over the world.

Some of these guest speakers included Marc Wesselink, Sacha Martina, Dieuwke van Woensel who all told their inspirational entrepreneurial stories. The stories didn’t stop there! We want to congratulate Akshay Mahajan, Pallav Jha, Lindy Damen, Alice Henry, Eminence Lombela Ndombi for presenting their exciting start-up pitches.
