Chef de Partie

We are looking for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team! As a Chef de Partie, your main responsibility will be to amaze people with outstanding cooking following the chef’s recipes and directions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times
  • Place orders on time
  • Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis
  • Follow the directions of the executive and sous chef
  • Suggest new ways of presentation of dishes
  • Suggest new rules and procedures for optimizing the cooking process
  • Give attention productivity of the kitchen such as speed and food quality
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with other colleagues and seniors

Chef de Partie requirements:

Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are looking for an ambitious F&B Supervisor to join our operations team! As an F&B Supervisor, your main responsibility is to ensure an outstanding food and beverage experience to all our guests.

Your responsibilities:

  • To ensure an outstanding food & beverage experience to all our guests
  • Anticipate to guests’ needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance guests’ satisfaction
  • Ensure guests are welcomed politely and serve food & beverage to the guests with style and flair
  • Operate in the F&B as an all-round employee according to SOPs
  • To order and supply the beverage stock
  • Set up schedules and next to that divide the workload, give directions and instructions, resolve guests feedback and monitor work progress and quality
  • Guide, direct and inspire the bar and restaurant team consisting out of employees and trainees
  • Train and develop team members, including on-the-job-coaching, giving feedback and carrying out performance development reviews of team members
  • Make suggestions and proposals regarding quality and improved efficiency and/or increase sales c.q. cost reduction

Sous-Chef

We are looking for an ambitious Sous-Chef to join our kitchen team! The Sous-Chef works alongside the head chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. Provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead kitchen team in the chef’s absence
  • Guide junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
  • Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredients
  • Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
  • Keep cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
  • Hire and train new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
  • Manage food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizes waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns
  • Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Work with the head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
  • Verify that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed
  • Assist head chef in menu creation

Bartenders/Baristas

We’re looking for skilled and creative Bartenders/Baristas looking to fulfill a vital role in our restaurant. Professional, high-energy, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to serve classic drinks and exciting new beverages to our guests. Bartenders/Baristas greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, prepare and serve beverages. You must be able to work quickly and meticulously under pressure.

Your responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
  • Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
  • Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
  • Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
  • Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
  • Maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning bar, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • Developing new cocktail recipes.
  • Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and food preparation laws
  • Welcoming customers and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.

Bartender/Barista requirements:

  • Bartending experience preferred
  • Proficiency using bar equipment and appliances
  • Dexterous, consistent, and precise
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative restaurant
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Extremely organized with high attention to detail
  • Able to work extended hours at night or during weekends

Waiters

We are looking for skilled Waiters to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers. Waiters should be able to uplift the dining experience for our guests. We are looking for professionals who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.

Your responsibilities:

  • Greet and escort customers to their tables
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
  • Inform customers about the day’s specials
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Up-sell additional products when appropriate
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization
  • Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
  • Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests

    Waiter requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Waiter
  • Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS)
  • Basic math skills
  • Attentiveness and patience for customers
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
